ATP on TV and Stream

Enjoy a complete schedule of all streamed and televised ATP Tour matches in 2019.  The 2020 ATP Tour calendar is made up of the Grand Slam tournaments (supervised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF)), the ATP Tour Masters 1000, the ATP Tour 500 series, the ATP Tour 250 series, the Davis Cup (organised by the ITF), and the ATP Finals.

ATP: Association of Tennis Professionals

The Association of Tennis Professionals, or ATP, was formed in 1972 for the benefit of male professional tennis players. It has its main headquarters in the UK, and also regional headquarters in Australia, Monaco and the USA. As the biggest organisation for men’s tennis in the world, its membership list reads like a Who’s Who of the sport, and includes Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem and Roger Federer.

Tennis fans won't need telling that the ATP Tour, which began in 1990, is also the biggest tour around for top-flight professionals. The jewel in the crown is the ATP Tour Masters 1000, which has been taking place every year since the beginning of the ATP Tour itself.

The ATP Tour Masters 1000 comprises nine tournaments which take place in Asia, Europe and North America. Each of the nine tournaments involved are headline-making events in their own right, and if you follow this series over the course of a whole year you will get to enjoy the Indian Wells Masters, Miami Open, Monte-Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, Italian Open, Canadian Open, Cincinnati Masters, Shanghai Masters and Paris Masters.

Whilst the ATP doesn't organise the four Grand Slam tournaments that most people tend to think of when discussing tennis (the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open) it does include the performance of players in those events in its rankings.

Talking of rankings, the world-famous ATP Rankings system has been operating since 1973. As well as providing a way to see at a glance which players are faring best, the rankings are also used for seeding in future tournaments. Some of the players who have spent the most time in the number one position in the ATP Rankings include Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Pete Sampras, Rafael Nadal, Jimmy Connors and Andre Agassi.
